| The Body preparation: Now I Get the body and remaining parts like fenders, decklid, quarter extensions, and valances ready to prime and paint. The main chassis was painted prior to me purchasing the car so I will wet sand this area. Finally the hood, decklid, and other parts are painted(edged) and ready to be installed and aligned and prepped for final paint on the car. | ||||||||||

| Now for paint and color sanding.... | ||||||||||
| For the painting of the car, color sanding and buffing of the paint, I used the Dupont chromabase system. The car was completely sanded, masked and painted. I decided to paint all the jambs and inner door areas to again ensure a good color match. It was then sanded with 1500 wet and buffed to a glossy finish. | ||||||||||
